Welcome to RankTree. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RankTree platform, website, software tools, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RankTree, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Description of the Service

RankTree provides AI-powered search engine optimization (SEO) tools, including automated keyword clustering, topical map generation, search intent classification, and content brief drafting. We continuously update and refine our algorithms and may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature with reasonable notice.

3. Accounts and Security

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at support@ranktree.io if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Subscriptions, Credits and Payments

RankTree offers free and paid subscription plans (Basic, Advanced). Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe or PayPal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. All paid subscriptions include a 7-day money-back guarantee pursuant to our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of RankTree software or algorithms.
• Upload files containing malicious code, viruses, or harmful components.
• Abuse our AI generation infrastructure through excessive automated scraping or bulk rate-limit violations.
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service without express written authorization from RankTree.

6. User Content & Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of all keyword lists, CSV files, project data, and generated content maps you create on RankTree. You grant RankTree a non-exclusive, worldwide license to process your data solely for the purpose of delivering and improving the Service. RankTree and its logos, designs, and proprietary code remain the exclusive property of RankTree.

7. Disclaimers and AI Output

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Search engine rankings are determined by third-party search engines (such as Google and Bing) and depend on hundreds of external factors. RankTree does not guarantee specific ranking positions or organic traffic levels. AI-generated outputs should be reviewed by qualified SEO professionals before publication.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RankTree and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time via your Account Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.
